SIMEST & ITALY-UNITED ARAB EMIRATES ASSOCIATION FOR THE ITALIAN COMPANIES’ INTERNATIONALIZATION

SIMEST signes an agreement with Italy-UAE Association

With the target to increase its presence particlarly alongsid small-medium enterprises SIMEST, the  public-private financial that promotes the development of Italian enterprises abroad,  has signed an agreement with the Italy-United Arab Emirates Association in order to cooperate in favor of Italian firms.

To sign the convention,  at the headquarters of SIMEST in Rome, was the Eng. Massimo D'Aiuto, CEO of SIMEST, and the On. Luca Barbareschi, Chairman of the Italy-United Arab Emirates Association.

"With this collaboration agreement we would like to put at the disposition of institutions and enterprises associated,  the skills of one of our territory asset - stated President Barbareschi-  after the important agreement with the San Raffaele Foundation, this pact represents a new stage of the program set up by the Association to relaunch, in a short time, a reference platform based on the new opportunities offered by the development of cooperation and partnership reports between Italy and UAE in various fields, cultural and commercial. "

By his side, the Association General Secretary, Dr. Nicola Martinelli  explained  that the initiative is inserted on the Association schedule which is conceived and structured according to the further expansion of agreements undertaken with Italian companies and in view of the recent interview with HE Sheikha Lubna Bint Khalid Al Qasimi, UAE Minister of Foreign Trade, who has honored the Association directive council as  Co-Chairman.

  "Through this agreement - concluded Massimo D'Aiuto - CEO of SIMEST - we intend to strengthen our cooperation with Italian companies interested in developing their presence in the Emirates’ State that, with different characteristics and opportunities, is an important destination for investment and for our task supporting the export credit. Companies may have a preferential channel for our tools and services access, such as the scouting business, which is operating throughout the area. "

Among the initiatives planned for the second half of June, a workshop in Abu Dhabi where the Association’s vertices  will meet emirates and italen excellences.
