AGREEMENT BETWEEN SAN RAFFAELE and ASS.ITALY -EMIRATES

The San Raffaele Foundation joined the Italy-United Arab Emirates Association, with the aim of promoting and supporting the emergence of a cooperation project in the field of scientific research and medical care with the United Arab Emirates Federal Government. “The scheme of the cooperation project scientific medical – stated Don Luigi Verze', chairman of the San Raffaele Foundation- expects a research and development component in the fields of Diabetology, Paediatrics, Gene Therapy, Hematology and Oncology.
This proposition presents the advantage for emirates scientific institutions to achieve a path of excellence starting from an advanced research position and focus on the synergy with the Italian scientists realizing at the same time the formation start up of a local researchers class.''
''Italy-United Arab Emirates Association - stated the chairman, Luca Barbareschi- will undertake to develop, with institutions and emirate private sector, a proposed transfer of a scientific medical know-how by the San Raffaele Foundation. The meeting was attended - in addition to the chairman of the San Raffaele Foundation, Don Luigi Verze ', and the chairman of the Italy-United Arab Emirates association, Luca Barbareschi - by Giuseppe Cerbone and Nicola Martinelli, respectively Vice President and General Secretary of the Association, Maurizio Savi, operating director within the San Raffaele search area , Dr. Sarah Marktel, Dr.Fabio Ciceri and Prof. Luca Guidotti.
