H.E Sheikha Lubna meets On. Luca Barbareschi

During her brief stay in Rome, the Sheikha Lubna Bint Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of Foreign Trade of the UAE, accompanied by His Excellency Nasser Bin Abdulaziz Al Shamsi Emirates Ambassador in Rome, met Monday, May 4, Hon. Luca Barbareschi, Italy-United Arab Emirates Association Chairman.

During the cordial and fruitful meeting, lasted approximately one hour, were presented new opportunities for further expansion of cooperation and partnership relations between the two countries in various fields, cultural and commercial, with particular regard to scientific research and medical support.

By his side, the Association’s Chairman Luca Barbareschi, showed the Association guidelines and planning which opens a new chapter of her history by strengthening dialogue and channels of communication with public and private institutions, with local establishments and with all the emirates social components.

"Among the priority objectives of the Association - underlined the Chairman Barbareschi - we need new initiatives to enhance cultural and trade cooperation, integrating and accompanying them with a training and operating plan in complete adherence to the turmoil and demands emerging from large areas of social- economic sensitivity in the two countries.

With enthusiasm, Sheikha Lubna has received the new projects of the Italy- United Arab Emirates Association expecting that the meeting will reinforce further economic and cultural interaction between the two countries.

The meeting was organized with the collaboration of the United Arab Emirates Embassy in Rome and attended by Giuseppe Cerbone and Nicola Martinelli respectively Vice President and Secretary General of The Italy-United Arab Emirates Association.
